I'm a stay at home wife to the worlds most amazing man. As of this posting ( Feb. 2012) I have been married to him for 16 1/2 years (oh crap, I feel so old!) I love him more than the day I said "I Do". Since then I have been blessed with 2 amazing, smart, sometimes a pain in the butt, but usually so well behaved, get along well together, kids.
I have an 12 year old son and an 9 year old daughter who tries to be queen of the castle, but I am having none of that... she needs to wait until she is all grown up and get her own castle.

I have been homeschooling my "babies" for about 4 years now. Wow, I never thought I would say that, but I have never loved my children so much. Strange, but I have more patience, appreciation and honor to be their mother since I became a homeschooler. I am teaching them not only the required subjects, but also things like, manners, respect, responsibility, and how to keep a home ( there will be no calling mommy when they go off to college and want to know how to wash their underwear). Its such a joy to see them learn through my teaching .
I started blogging a few years ago just to write down my thoughts, hoping it would quiet the never ending conversations in my head... it didn't and I wasn't that good at it. In the past few months I have been Googling like mad wondering, hmmm how do you do this or that? Google is amazing, and so are all of you! I had no idea that blogland was so fabulous! You see, I have crafters ADD, I love all things crafty and I often skip around from project to project with several unfinished or yet to be done. If I can make it myself and cheaper, I am going to figure out how. I do almost everything but scrapbooking (sorry all you scrapbookers.. I just don't get it). Now I hope to blog about not only whats on my mind, but whats happening in my life, crafts I have made, recipes I love, pictures I have taken. Basically its going to be a smorgasbord of info. I am still trying to figure out The Wonderful World of Blogging, but oh what fun!
